Recovery is king! There is no such thing as over-training, only under-recovery. 

Here are a few tips and tricks to help you stay healthy and training at the intensity you want so you can always perform at your best:

  • Sleep:
    • Ear plugs
    • Eye Mask
    • ChiliPad cooling mattress cover by Chili Technology. Absolutely awesome if you run hot, and helps cool your core temperature so your body can focus on rebuilding muscle fibers, increase theta waves (creative part of the brain), and generally sleep deeper.
  • Foam Rolling:
    • Foam roller by Trigger Point Therapy
    • Lacrosse ball, tennis ball, or trigger point ball
    • PVC pipe or massage stick for rolling out your quads and calves
